Job Description

Join our team in Kochi as a Guest Service Associate - Housekeeping! You are at the heart of our hospitality operation. In this role, you will take ownership of guest rooms and common areas, ensuring that our guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your dedication to excellence and attention to detail will be instrumental in creating memorable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.

• Clean and maintain all assigned guest rooms and common areas to our established standards, paying meticulous attention to detail
• Anticipate guest needs and take initiative to personalize their experience, demonstrating genuine care and professionalism
• Respect and protect guest privacy and belongings while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality
• Organize and manage your workload efficiently, prioritizing tasks to meet daily cleaning schedules and deadlines
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless guest service and operational excellence
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly to supervisors
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards at all times
• Respond to guest requests and special needs with empathy, flexibility, and a solutions-oriented approach
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive team environment through supportive and collaborative interactions

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

• Primary school education or equivalent
• Warm, caring personality with a genuine passion for guest service
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond professionally and courteously
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent performance
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining excellent personal grooming standards

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Previous housekeeping or guest service experience in a hospitality setting
• Familiarity with hotel cleaning protocols and guest service standards
• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations with resilience
• Multilingual abilities (an asset in a diverse hospitality environment)
• Certification in housekeeping or hospitality service (if available)
