The GS/PSD1 (Global Services for Distribution) is globally responsible for warehousing and fine distribution processes. The field of activities includes the whole variety from management of logistic service providers, the design of warehouse managements system solutions, definition of lean and quality standards for warehouses and holistic process optimization. Data analytics is a key factor in this field to drive the improvement processes

Job Description

â–º Support the operations, maintenance and resolution of server-related incidents (Windows / Linux) by following defined procedures
â–º Support the operation and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Servers, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
â–º Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues
â–º Contribute to automation and scripting operational tasks
â–º Assist with network-related topics such as basic network diagnostic, firewall rules, etc.
â–º Support IT security activities
â–º Support the setup, maintenance, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and architecture
â–º Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within the team and learn server management best practices
â–º Document issues, solutions and system configuration

Qualifications

â–º Enrolled student in Computer Science, IT Security, Information Systems or a related field
â–º Basic to solid understanding of Windows / Linux operating systems
â–º Basic to solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
â–º Basic to solid understanding of Azure / Databricks cloud environment
â–º Interest in IT infrastructure, networking
â–º Analytical mindset and structured approach to troubleshooting
â–º Basic understanding of networking concepts
â–º Knowledge of scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) is a plus
â–º Interest in security topics such as vulnerability management is a plus
â–º Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
â–º Languages : Fluent verbal and written communication in English. German is a plus.
