Tendering Engineer

The company had a wide history of construction projects in various industries in the past, which now decided to take a different route focusing on specific types of buildings.

Job Description

• Preparing site visit report after exploring site condition & surroundings.
• Coordinating in preparing initial design drawings (if any).
• Prepares cost estimates in the early design stage.
• Understand the project requirements interpret design or engineering drawings and prepare tender documents, B.O.Q, material lists, and specifications.
• Review project drawings and all materials to write specifications of the project and comply with B.O.Q and specs with it.
• Quantity Survey of all architectural, structural, and Landscape works for the tender package.
• Gather information on materials needed, labor required, and other factors.
• Read technical documents, specifications, and data sheets to prepare estimates
• Work with tendering teams to prepare estimates and bids for clients.
• Weekly Tender Status Reports (highlighting progress on a concerned tender).
• Searches for methods, materials, and systems to maintain a technical resources library.
   

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree - Architecture (preferable) or Civil
• One of PRMG, PMP, CLAC certificate equivalents is an advantage.

• Demonstrating previous exposure to contracts and an understanding of basic contract language Providing proven leadership and management experience.

• Experience: 2-4 years of proven experience preferably in Contracting Companies.
