Get to Know the Team

The ID 4 Wheels Strategy (Mobility) team is the driving force behind the overall GrabCar business strategy in Indonesia. Our mandate is broad and impactful as we manage the business portfolio, oversee the P&L, drive product innovation, optimize operations, and lead critical stakeholder management.

Acting as the vital bridge between local operations and regional teams, we ensure that our market-specific strategies are seamlessly aligned and harmonized with Grab's broader regional direction.

You will be the backbone of our strategic decision-making process. At Grab, we don't move on intuition alone, our biggest bets and daily optimizations are backed by rigorous data.

In this role, you will be translating complex datasets into clear, actionable business insights. You will have the unique opportunity to influence business strategy by transforming raw numbers into compelling narratives, data automation and user-friendly dashboards that empower leadership to make high-stakes decisions with confidence.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Perform complex, in-depth data analysis to uncover market trends, passenger behaviors, driver dynamics, and operational inefficiencies.
• Design, build, and maintain robust reports, automated pipelines, and interactive dashboards (e.g., PowerBI, in-house tools) to provide data and insight access across the team.
• Proactively track key business metrics, identify anomalies or performance gaps, and escalate risks to leadership in a timely, solution-oriented manner.
• Actively leverage and experiment with modern AI tools and LLMs to accelerate data processing, coding, and analytical workflows without compromising accuracy.
• Partner closely with regional teams and local metric owners to ensure a unified, data-driven approach to business growth.

Qualifications

What essential Skills You Will Need

• 4+ years of relevant work experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or strategy roles.
• High proficiency in SQL is mandatory. Strong hands-on experience with Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
• Proven track record of managing and crunching massive, complex datasets to drive business growth or strategic shifts.
• Experience working within a fast-growing MNC, a fast-paced tech company, or a top-tier management/technical consulting firm.
• Experience on translating technical findings into data-driven insights actionable for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
