In this role, you will write clean, scalable code with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and user-centric design. You will directly contribute to building a new SaaS platform that delivers a secure, consistent, and best-in-class experience for customers purchasing and managing Portworx offerings. As a core developer, you will take ownership of designing and implementing critical features across the entire Portworx portfolio.</p> <h2 data-path-to-node="5">WHAT YOU’LL DO</h2> <ul data-path-to-node="6"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="6,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="6,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Design &amp; Scale SaaS Microservices:</strong> Develop, test, and integrate high-performance microservices and features into the Portworx product suite, ensuring high availability in distributed systems.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="6,1,0"><strong data-path-to-node="6,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Drive End-to-End Delivery:</strong> Lead software lifecycle activities including architectural design, code reviews, unit/functional testing, documentation, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="6,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="6,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Partner Across Teams:</strong> Collaborate with product managers, cross-functional engineering peers, and early-adopter customers to transform requirements into production-ready software.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="6,3,0"><strong data-path-to-node="6,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">Own Product Quality &amp; Iteration:</strong> Take full ownership of feature stability by proactively incorporating customer feedback and rapidly resolving issues identified during testing and deployment.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="6,4,0"><strong data-path-to-node="6,4,0" data-index-in-node="0">Innovate &amp; Experiment:</strong> Research emerging technologies and cloud infrastructure tools to push performance boundaries and continuously improve software capabilities.</p> </li> </ul> <h2 data-path-to-node="8">WHAT YOU BRING</h2> <h3 data-path-to-node="9">Minimum Qualifications</h3> <ul data-path-to-node="10"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="10,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="10,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="10,1,0"><strong data-path-to-node="10,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Senior Engineering Experience:</strong> 8+ years of professional experience designing, building, and deploying production-grade product components using <strong data-path-to-node="10,1,0" data-index-in-node="144">Go, Java, or C++</strong>.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="10,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="10,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Architecture &amp; Systems Design:</strong> Proven background in microservices architecture, cloud deployments, and distributed systems design.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="10,3,0"><strong data-path-to-node="10,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">CS Foundations:</strong> Strong knowledge of core computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and maintainable software engineering principles.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="10,4,0"><strong data-path-to-node="10,4,0" data-index-in-node="0">Collaborative Mindset:</strong> Exceptional team-oriented communication skills with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional or open-office environments.</p> </li> </ul> <h3 data-path-to-node="11">Preferred Technical Qualifications</h3> <ul data-path-to-node="12"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="12,0,0">Hands-on experience with <strong data-path-to-node="12,0,0" data-index-in-node="25">Kubernetes and Containers</strong> (prior Kubernetes Control Plane development is a plus).</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="12,1,0">Experience implementing <strong data-path-to-node="12,1,0" data-index-in-node="24">Authentication</strong> (SSO, LDAP) and <strong data-path-to-node="12,1,0" data-index-in-node="55">Authorization</strong> (RBAC, OAuth) frameworks.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="12,2,0">Background in <strong data-path-to-node="12,2,0" data-index-in-node="14">E-commerce marketplace integration</strong> or automating <strong data-path-to-node="12,2,0" data-index-in-node="63">SaaS billing</strong> and usage reporting.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="12,3,0">Experience building <strong data-path-to-node="12,3,0" data-index-in-node="20">Telemetry reporting systems</strong> for production services or developing public-facing <strong data-path-to-node="12,3,0" data-index-in-node="100">SDKs</strong>.</p> </li> </ul> <p><br><br><br>#LI-KS2,&nbsp; #LI-ONSITE</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Innovation</strong>: We celebrate those who think critically, like a challenge, and aspire to be trailblazers.</li> <li><strong>Growth</strong>: We give you the space and support to grow along with us and to contribute to something meaningful.
