Job Description

Your tasks:

► As part of a quality and engineering organization for electronic components, you will help develop efficient solutions for project controlling, data preparation, reporting and stakeholder support in an international Bosch environment. 

► You set up and maintain projects and budgets in a project-management financing system with internal customers and Bosch production plants.

► You support project setup in cooperation with Business Unit Key Accounts and act as first point of contact for internal customers regarding budget, billing and time-reporting topics. 

► You ensure reliable project data by extracting, evaluating and preparing data from internal data sources, including hourly-rate data, master data and cost data.

► You perform data-quality and plausibility checks, identify optimization potential and contribute to the standardization of reporting, budgeting and data-flow concepts. 

► You act as key user for the project-management financing system, participate in key-user meetings, transfer relevant information to the organization.

► You track and validate time reporting, support follow-up of non-billable hours including post-booking, conduct monthly mass uploads and contribute to yearly business-planning activities such as allocation-key data preparation, allocation-key maintenance and template creation. 

► You conduct user trainings for employees, for example on time reporting, and support special evaluations and complex data analyses, including quality-related topics. 

► You have an affinity to data analysis for preparation of reporting and have the competence or are willing to learn about databases and creation of data pipelines using applications like KNIME or even basic Python programming.  

Qualifications

► University degree in business administration, industrial engineering, business informatics. Basics on data analytics or computer science can be an advantage. 

► Personality: structured, reliable, communicative and able to build trust with internal customers and stakeholders internationally. 

► Working style: analytical, solution-oriented and quality-conscious, with appreciative and result-oriented communication in an international context. 

► Experience and know-how: good understanding of project controlling, budget management, billing, time reporting processes; experience with reporting tools, data workflow automation or Python programming is an advantage. 

► Affinity and motivation: strong interest in data engineering, automation and tool maintenance; willingness to learn PowerBI, SQL, or KNIME (even basic Python Programming) if not already with basic experience. Interest in creating AI solutions in a team.

► Enthusiasm: enjoyment in improving processes, standardizing data flows and continuously developing robust reporting solutions together with specialist departments and remote teams. 

► Languages: very good English skills; German is beneficial.
