We offer behavioral healthcare services – psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. – that allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.</p></div><p></p> <p><strong>Summary: </strong>Provide comprehensive support to students by addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs through interventions, collaboration with stakeholders, and resource coordination to foster their academic and personal growth.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement strategies to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs, including brief, solution-focused interventions.</li> <li>Collaborate with students, families, teachers, and administrators to create and support Individualized Education Plans and comprehensive support strategies.</li> <li>Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and connect them with appropriate services and resources.</li> <li>Facilitate communication between the school, families, and external agencies to ensure cohesive support, including coordinating additional services and appointments.</li> <li>Provide crisis intervention to address urgent mental health or safety concerns and support student well-being.</li> <li>Create and deliver workshops or training sessions for students, parents, and staff on relevant topics, including bullying and substance abuse prevention.</li> <li>Advocate for students’ rights and mobilize school, family, and community resources to promote learning and engagement.</li> <li>Maintain accurate, confidential records of student progress while promoting attendance and addressing challenges to student success.</li> <li>Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information</li> <li>Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>None</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <p><u>Education, Licensure, &amp; Experience</u></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor degree in social work or related field with 1 year experience in health or human services</li> <li>Preferred to have or able to obtain one of the following: certified school counselor, licensed professional counselor, licensed social worker, licensed clinical social worker, or school psychologist.</li> <li>Masters degree preferred</li> </ul> <p><u>Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</u></p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.&nbsp; The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.&nbsp; Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.</li> <li>Familiarity with common social, emotional, and behavioral challenges faced by students.</li> <li>Ability to handle a crisis and or potential risk situation and react appropriately</li> <li>A working knowledge of federal and state standards as well as regulating body and compliance standards.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Work Environment </strong></p> <p>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet &amp; indoors.&nbsp; This position will require local travel.&nbsp; This position will be scheduled based on operational need &amp; will be required to provide own transportation.&nbsp; Incumbent may be exposed to virus, disease, and/or infection from clients in the work environment.&nbsp;
