Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Manager to lead and evolve our global ABM programme. This role will be responsible for developing and executing integrated account-based marketing strategies that drive engagement, pipeline growth, and revenue across multiple business verticals.

Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Digital, PR, and regional stakeholders, you will build targeted account plans, establish scalable ABM frameworks, and ensure programmes are aligned to business objectives. The successful candidate will be a highly collaborative B2B marketing professional with a proven track record of delivering impactful ABM strategies in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the global ABM strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and growth targets.
  • Create and manage integrated account plans to support target accounts throughout the entire buyer journey.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of one-to-one, one-to-few, and one-to-many ABM programmes.
  • Partner with Sales to define target account selection, segmentation, and tiering strategies across all business verticals.
  • Oversee the delivery of account-based campaigns and engagement initiatives, ensuring effective execution and measurable results.
  • Establish and maintain ABM performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and KPIs to demonstrate pipeline and revenue impact.
  • Develop and maintain ABM playbooks, operating models, and best practice frameworks.
  • Drive ABM adoption and enablement across the organisation through training, coaching, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director to ensure ABM activities support wider commercial and marketing objectives.
  • Work closely with the Digital Manager to leverage marketing technology, data insights, and digital best practices.
  • Partner with Regional Marketing Managers to ensure consistency and alignment of ABM programmes across global and regional markets.
  • Coordinate with PR, Internal Communications, and Marketing Communications teams to maximise account engagement opportunities.
  • Ensure account teams and stakeholder groups are aligned to account plans and actively support programme delivery.
  • Maintain the quality and consistency of all customer-facing ABM materials and communications.
  • Manage external agency relationships, ensuring strong performance, delivery, and return on investment.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, sales leadership teams, and key account decision-makers.

Qualifications

  • Extensive B2B marketing experience with significant hands-on Account-Based Marketing expertise.
  • Proven success developing and delivering ABM strategies that drive measurable business results.
  • Experience within industrial, engineering, manufacturing, technical, or similarly complex B2B environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong strategic planning and account development skills, with the ability to create long-term engagement strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering results without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to measure, interpret, and communicate programme performance.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with marketing technology platforms, CRM systems, and ABM tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
