The Analyst role within TBC Capital’s Debt Capital Markets (DCM) department involves supporting the origination, structuring, and execution of DCM financing transactions. The position includes conducting in-depth financial analysis, building financial models, preparing presentations, drafting bond prospectuses, and working closely with the team throughout all stages of the bond issuance process.

The Analyst will also be involved in communication with issuers, investors, the National Bank of Georgia, and other external stakeholders.

Job Description

• Financial Analysis and Modeling: Conduct detailed financial analysis, including credit analysis, financial modeling, and company valuation for the purpose of bond issuance.
• Transaction Support: Participate in the execution of capital markets transactions, including private and public bond issuances in local and international markets.
• Transaction Documentation and Issuer Coordination: Draft all sections of the issuance prospectus in compliance with applicable legislation; communicate with the issuer to request required information and coordinate matters related to the prospectus; and manage communication with the National Bank of Georgia in coordination with senior team members. In addition, prepare all supporting documentation in coordination with the Legal Department, including mandate letters and other relevant documents.
• Preparation of Presentations and Materials: Prepare presentations and materials for client meetings, including general presentations about TBC Capital, pitch presentations for potential bond issuers, capital markets overview presentations, and other relevant materials.
• Investor Relations: Communicate and coordinate with institutional investors and prepare marketing materials for investors.
• Support in Providing Additional Services to Issuers: Support issuers throughout the credit rating process, including preparing relevant materials and coordinating with rating agencies. In the case of thematic bonds, support issuers in preparing the thematic bond framework and coordinate the process of obtaining a second-party opinion.
• Research and Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research and stay informed about new products; monitor capital market trends, interest rates, and macroeconomic factors; and process and report statistical information related to capital markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in the financial sector, preferably within the corporate or investment banking division of an investment or commercial bank, or in a related field such as audit or the finance department of an industry company.
• Knowledge of corporate finance, with in-depth knowledge of credit analysis and financial modeling.
• In-depth knowledge of capital markets regulations.
• Strong financial modeling skills in Excel and presentation development skills in PowerPoint.
• Strong writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in English.
