As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will support the Housekeeping Manager in leading the team to deliver outstanding cleanliness, comfort, and service that exceed guest expectations.

What you will be doing:

• Assist the Housekeeping Manager in leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing the Housekeeping team.
• Supervise daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet the highest cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and service standards while ensuring compliance with brand standards and hotel policies.
• Coordinate with the Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to maintain quality standards.
• Assist with scheduling, inventory control, ordering of housekeeping supplies, and cost management.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of Heartists.
• Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene procedures.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Service-focused personality with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within Housekeeping, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to lead by example, motivate a diverse team, and foster a positive working environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
