Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) — Per Diem
Location: 4447 Gibsonia Rd, Gibsonia, PA
Pay: $15 per hour, plus applicable shift differentials
Commitment: At least 4 shifts per month
Looking for flexible work where you can make a difference? As a per diem BHT, you’ll provide frontline support in a residential substance use treatment program and help maintain a safe, supportive environment for clients.
Shift options:
- Weekends: 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
- Weekdays: 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
Shift differentials:
- 1st shift, Saturday and Sunday: +$1.00 per hour
- 2nd shift, Monday through Friday: +$1.00 per hour
- 2nd shift, Saturday and Sunday: +$1.50 per hour
- 3rd shift, Monday through Friday: +$1.50 per hour
- 3rd shift, Saturday and Sunday: +$1.50 per hour
What you’ll do:
- Welcome new clients and assist with intake.
- Maintain accurate client logs and communicate important updates to the team.
- Help create a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment, including responding to crises.
- Support daily schedules, treatment-plan goals, meetings, and recreational activities.
- Complete required bed checks and shift handoffs.
- Monitor medication lines and clients’ general well-being.
- Transport clients to approved meetings and activities.
- Maintain professional boundaries and follow program policies and ethical standards.
- Help with facility upkeep and other program needs.
What you’ll need:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Drug and alcohol or mental health experience preferred.
Candidates selected for hire must pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state clearances.
