Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Bellman to join our dynamic hospitality team in Putrajaya, Malaysia. 

• Welcome all guests and residents with warmth and professionalism, providing directions and personalized recommendations for hotel facilities and local attractions
• Supervise and participate in the handling, storage, and safekeeping of all incoming, outgoing, and stored baggage with meticulous attention to detail and care
• Coordinate and support guest arrival and departure experiences, working collaboratively with the doorman, reception teams, and housekeeping staff
• Monitor valet parking operations, taxi queues, and hired car services according to established priorities and procedures
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly with empathy and professionalism, escalating security incidents or complaints to the Duty Manager when appropriate
• Maintain the hotel entrance and driveway operations in accordance with established service standards, safety protocols, and code of ethics
• Promote in-house facilities and hotel services to enhance the guest experience and drive operational efficiency
• Ensure all tasks are performed in adherence with workplace safety, health policies, and security procedures
• Work closely with colleagues across all departments to deliver personalized and efficient service encounters
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of guest and hotel information at all times
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management with flexibility and initiative

Qualifications

**Knowledge and Experience**

• Relevant experience in the hotel industry or hospitality sector
• Demonstrated knowledge of hotel operations, facilities, and guest service protocols
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proven ability to assess and address guest and colleague needs with empathy and professionalism
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities with sound judgment
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Self-motivated with excellent initiative and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
• Physical fitness and stamina for handling baggage and standing for extended periods
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Comprehensive understanding of security and confidentiality protocols for guest and hotel information
• Ability to embrace and respond to change effectively and positively
• Multilingual capability (particularly English and Malay) is highly desirable for the Putrajaya location
• Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences

Additional Information

• Speaking an additional language, such as Chinese, Tamil, Japanese, or another language besides Malay and English, is an added advantage.
