Get to Know the Team

The ID Food Delivery Team acts as the strategic and operating orchestrator for GrabFood Indonesia. Our main focus is on developing executable business strategies that align with our growth mission and connect multiple teams together to translate business priorities into coordinated execution.

Get to Know the Role

As the Business Excellence Manager, Food, you will help the Head of Food Deliveries shape priorities and drive execution excellence across the GrabFood Indonesia vertical.

You will drive vertical performance management, including financial planning and forecasting, commercial target-setting, and monthly business reviews. This will require you to orchestrate cross-functional coordination across demand, marketplace, and territories— to ensure smooth performance tracking.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across different business domains, turning ambiguous problems into structured decisions, and ensuring strategic initiatives deliver measurable outcomes. You will be based onsite in Grab's Jakarta office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Lead GrabFood Indonesia's annual, quarterly, and monthly business planning cycles, including financial planning and forecasting as well as commercial target-setting.
• Monitor business performance across financial, commercial, marketplace, delivery, user, and merchant metrics, and drive follow-up actions on material gaps.
• Structure complex business problems, conduct root-cause analysis, and develop clear recommendations with quantified trade-offs.
• Build and improve dashboards, operating cadences, and management updates that enable accurate and timely decision-making.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• 5+ years of experience in strategy, business analysis, and/or financial planning and forecasting. Experience in the technology industry is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Business Management, Industrial Engineering
• Proven experience in financial modelling, simulation and analysis
• Proficiency in Excel (can perform complex functions). SQL/Python/R skills are advantageous
