A family-friendly dining and drinks destination that specialises in fresh Seasonal Mediterranean cuisine with fresh pasta, wood-fired sourdough pizza, events and evolving menu development, in the scenic Berkshire countryside.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join the team at our vibrant new establishment.

Salary: up to £38,000pa

Hours per week: 45

About the Chef de Partie role:

• Food preparation, stock rotation and food labelling
• General cleaning duties
• Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are maintained at all times
• Carry out the smooth and efficient running of your section as appropriate.
• Own your section within a growing Mediterranean kitchen, using fresh seasonal ingredients
• Opportunity to learn and develop and potential to progress to Junior Sous

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Chef de Partie within a fast-paced, high volume kitchen.
 

Qualifications

• Proven experience
• Proficiency in diverse cooking techniques and cuisines
• Leaving Cert level education or above
• NVQ qualification or equivalent
• Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
• Flair and innovative with menus and food presentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
