Job Description

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, including ingredient preparation, portioning, and mise en place.
• Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner while maintaining consistency and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or wastage to the Chef de Partie.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar kitchen role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Culinary certification or relevant training is an advantage.
