Griffith University is seeking to engage a locally based consultant to undertake marketing and agent support activities for the recruitment of international students. This is a great opportunity for a high performing individual to work with the dynamic Griffith International team and make an impact in the lives of future Griffith University students.
Griffith University has a long and highly valued relationship with Greater China, through research and collaboration, and an ever-growing network of alumni. With a locally based representative, Griffith International will provide increased support to its education agents and strategic partners, enhance the standing of the Universityβs profile, and assist with the recruitment of students and provision of international student support.
This is a full-time, one-year contract position based in either Shanghai, East China region or Beijing, and will require regular travel China when required. Travel to Australia may also be required occasionally.
The role
The consultant is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans and initiatives to support the recruitment of international students from China. The consultant will work closely with the Regional Director (Greater China and Mongolia), to support and manage the Universityβs agent network, and strategic partners and stakeholders, in effectively counselling and supporting new students in their decision and plans to undertake study at Griffith University.
About You
You are an experienced international marketing professional with a deep understanding of the education sector, especially within China. You thrive in cross-cultural settings and can independently manage a complex workload under broad direction.

A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated on a fee for service basis with the successful consultant. This is not an expatriate package position.
