Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Control Manager to join our organization in Giza, Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cost control strategies, monitoring expenditures, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong financial acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to drive process improvements across the organization.

• Develop, implement, and monitor cost control policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance and financial efficiency
• Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive cost reports, variance analyses, and performance metrics for management review
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement strategies to optimize operational expenses without compromising quality
• Collaborate with department heads and project managers to establish budgets, track spending, and manage cost overruns
• Conduct regular audits of cost control processes and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
• Utilize accounting and ERP systems to track, record, and reconcile cost data across multiple departments
• Prepare forecasts and projections based on historical data and market trends to support strategic planning
• Investigate cost discrepancies and variances, providing detailed explanations and corrective action plans
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of cost control activities, policies, and procedures for audit and compliance purposes
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders through clear, professional reporting
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging cost management methodologies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cost control, cost accounting, or financial management (minimum 5+ years)
• Strong proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Advanced knowledge of cost accounting methodologies and principles
• Demonstrated expertise in identifying and implementing cost reduction initiatives
• Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and financial management tools
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and financial modeling
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
• Preferred: Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement certification
• Preferred: Experience with cost forecasting and modeling tools
• Preferred: Background in manufacturing, construction, or project-based industries
