Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager the Depot Area Manager will lead a team of Depot Supervisors and their associated teams, whilst providing hands-on support to facilitate continuous improvement and operational efficiencies whilst meeting operational and compliance standards.

Additionally, through conducting site visits, liaising with key stakeholders and providing hands-on support, this position will assist with providing operational support to all Depots within the QLD network, assisting with maintaining compliance in safety, inventory, rostering & timesheet approval in conjunction business growth building initiatives.

The duties of the Depot Area Manager will consist of, but are not limited to:

• Drive performance through the management of people and technology to create agile and innovative solutions & an exceptional customer experience.
• Visit each depot weekly, ensuring depots are always well presented, compliant and maintenance schedules are adhered to. Work "on the ground" with the depot team when required.
• Encourage a positive work environment and culture for all employees reflecting TOMRA values
• Provide ongoing assistance, guidance and coaching support to site team members.
• Drive a TOMRA Safe culture within QLD through ensuring safety procedures are well documented and adhered to & that proactive safety conversations occur consistently. 

Please note: This position is a 3-month secondment*

Qualifications

To be a successful Depot Area Manager you will have: 

• Cert IV Frontline Manager or equivalent
• 3-5 years+ experience in leading people
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills 
• A professional and positive attitude
