Job Description

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all electrical systems, including preventative maintenance and electrical system installations
• Install wiring, devices, and temporary power installations whilst adhering to all safety protocols
• Ensure strict adherence to Indian Electrical Rules, National Electrical Code standards, and local Vijayawada electrical regulations
• Conduct comprehensive safety checks on all electrical devices and systems
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical literature, and maintenance instructions with precision
• Operate lighting control systems and manage temporary power distributions for events and special projects
• Maintain adequate inventory of parts and supplies whilst keeping assigned work areas clean and organised
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve electrical issues efficiently and effectively

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable commercial or industrial electrical experience
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
• Comprehensive knowledge of Indian Electrical Rules and National Electrical Code standards
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical literature
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in preventative maintenance and electrical system installation
• Knowledge of local Vijayawada electrical codes and safety standards
• Additional certifications in specialized electrical systems or advanced technologies
• Experience with lighting control systems and temporary power installations

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
• Good physical condition with regular ability to bend, kneel, reach, and work at heights
• Capability to lift and move heavy materials regularly
• Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the workday
