As a Front Office Supervisor, you are the face of our hotel and the right hand of the (Assistant) Front Office Manager. You ensure that everything at reception runs smoothly – from check-in to check-out – and guide the team in creating an exceptional guest experience, even in the most dynamic circumstances that an airport location brings.

Radisson Blu Hotel Amsterdam Airport is a modern four-star airport hotel, conveniently located near Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam. With 281 comfortable rooms, 19 versatile meeting rooms, and one large ballroom, we host a wide range of conferences, meetings, and international events. Job Description

What will you do?

• Supervise the Front Desk team, assign tasks and provide clear instructions;
• Lead and motivate the Front Desk team, fostering a positive and service-oriented working environment;
• Coordinate special requests and issues with other departments;
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints, making decisions where needed in consultation with management;
• Welcome, check in and check out guests;
• Process reservations and payments via the reservation and cashier systems;
• Drive Radisson Rewards enrolments and actively promote the benefits of the programme to guests;
• Identify and maximise upselling opportunities to increase revenue and enhance the guest experience;
• Provide guests with tourist and general information;
• Deliver additional services such as wake-up calls, passing on messages, and resolving complaints;
• Manage the telephone switchboard, handling and transferring calls;
• Step in to resolve minor technical repair orders when the technical department is not on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Front Office, supervisory role within hospitality;
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
• Ability to handle guest requests and operational issues effectively;
• Availability to work rotating morning, day and evening shifts;
• A hands-on and service-oriented approach, with the ability to support the team in daily Front Office operations;
• Experience with upselling and/or enrolments is an advantage.
