Job Description

• Manage daily cash handling, deposits, and cash reconciliation.
• Verify and process daily cash and credit card transactions.
• Prepare daily cash reports and ensure all records are accurate and complete.
• Reconcile cash, credit cards, bank transactions, and other payment methods.
• Maintain proper records of cash receipts, deposits, and financial documents.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and discrepancies.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting activities.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular cash counts and investigate any discrepancies.
• Support month-end closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, financial controls, and company procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and documentation.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve financial and cashiering issues.
• Perform any other finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality finance environment is preferred.
• Good knowledge of cash handling, reconciliation, and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with hotel finance systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
