Job Description

The Head of Event Sales is a crucial leadership role within Events by Benugo, responsible for driving group-wide sales performance and maximising event revenue across the portfolio. This includes private dining, celebrations, corporate events, exclusive venue hires, and growing the brand's external catering operations.

Salary: Competitive

Hours: 45 hours 

Responsibilities

• Accountable for developing and delivering a robust sales strategy that supports business growth while ensuring exceptional client experiences.
• Working in close partnership with venue and operational teams.
• ensures that every event is professionally managed from enquiry through to delivery.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, event agencies, and organisers.
• Identifying new business opportunities while expanding existing partnerships.
• Implement efficient sales processes to drive conversion and the performance of the sales teams.
• A commercial mindset and hands-on engagement.

Qualifications

• Passionate about identifying new revenue streams.
• Proven success in a senior sales leadership role, ideally within the events, catering, or luxury experience sectors.
• Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to secure high-value contracts and develop long-term client partnerships.
• Data-driven and commercially focused, with the ability to analyse sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, winning new business, and growing revenues across multiple venues and service offerings.
• Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, event agencies, venue finders, and key industry stakeholders to drive repeat and incremental business.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify market opportunities, develop high-impact sales strategies, and convert opportunities into profitable business.
• Inspirational leader with a proven ability to build, develop, and motivate high-performing sales teams, creating a culture of growth, accountability, and results.
• Collaborative approach, with experience working closely alongside marketing teams to develop campaigns, generate leads, and maximise conversion opportunities.
• Experience operating in a highly competitive environment, with a proactive and results-driven approach to business development, market expansion, and revenue generation.
