Housekeeper — Full-Time
📍 Location: Charlotte Hall Facility, 30007 Business Center Drive, Charlotte Hall, MD 💵 Pay: $15.00–$17.00 per hour 🗓️ Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
About Walden
Walden is a local, community-based, CARF-accredited organization with five service campuses in Maryland. We provide compassionate behavioral healthcare, including substance use disorder treatment, trauma-informed mental health services, crisis intervention, and recovery support.
Position summary
The Housekeeper helps maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the facility. This role includes routine cleaning and sanitation of public areas, offices, client rooms, restrooms, hallways, and other designated spaces.
What you’ll do
- Clean public and staff restrooms and shared areas, including the front office, conference room, halls, steps, and hallways, as scheduled.
- Clean rooms and bathrooms daily, including the hall, nurses’ station, and exam room.
- Clean personal offices weekly.
- Empty trash daily throughout the facility.
- Clean laundry rooms and dryer filters every two weeks.
- Refill paper towel, soap, and toilet paper dispensers as needed.
- Clean baseboards, radiators, and windows seasonally.
- Wet-mop floors.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly facility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need
- Prior housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures and pay attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Healthcare or behavioral health experience is a plus.
