Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Intern - Bartender to join our hospitality team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical bartending skills in a dynamic bar environment while providing exceptional service to our guests. You will work alongside experienced bartenders, learning the craft of mixology and hospitality excellence while contributing to a positive and efficient bar operation.

• Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards with precision and attention to detail
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing knowledgeable recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar station, including equipment, glassware, and supplies
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation of beverages and bar supplies
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly
• Collaborate with bar staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of alcoholic beverages in compliance with UAE regulations
• Support senior bartenders in training and learning best practices for customer engagement and drink preparation
• Respond promptly to guest requests and address any concerns with professionalism and courtesy
• Contribute to maintaining a welcoming and efficient bar atmosphere

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Detail-oriented approach to drink preparation and presentation
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork and collaboration
• Basic knowledge of beverage types and flavor profiles (preferred)
• Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or customer-facing roles (preferred)
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures (preferred)
• Knowledge of UAE hospitality standards and cultural sensitivity (preferred)
• Willingness to learn and develop bartending skills through hands-on training
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety regulations
