Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, commercially driven Internal Home Services Manager to lead the growth, performance and delivery of Home Loans across internal distribution channels within the province.

The role is responsible for translating Home Services strategy into effective sales and acquisition plans, driving Home Loans growth, improving conversion and client experience, and strengthening performance across the internal Home Loans value chain.

The successful candidate will bring strong Home Loans or lending experience, proven sales leadership capability and the ability to build and influence senior stakeholder relationships across a complex banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute internal-channel Home Loans sales and acquisition plans to drive growth, market share, conversion and client entrenchment.
• Lead and monitor sales performance across internal distribution channels, identifying performance gaps and implementing targeted interventions.
• Partner with Regional, Branch and segment leadership to identify and convert acquisition, cross-sell and growth opportunities across the client base.
• Lead and develop the internal Home Loans acquisition team, driving performance, capability, accountability and consistent client outcomes.
• Build strong senior stakeholder relationships across Credit, Product, Pricing, Operations, Processing, Risk and Compliance to improve sales flow and service delivery.
• Manage pipeline quality, conversion, market insights, risk and governance to strengthen channel performance and support sustainable Home Loans growth.

Qualifications

• Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7 qualification or higher) in Business Commerce, Finance, Banking, Economics, Marketing or a related commercial field.
• Relevant FAIS-recognised qualification, where applicable.
• Must meet applicable FAIS Fit and Proper requirements.
• RE1 required where the role carries designated Key Individual responsibilities.

Experience Required:

• 5–7 years’ relevant experience within Home Loans, mortgage lending, banking sales, distribution or client acquisition.
• Strong experience in sales performance, acquisition, pipeline management and conversion within a target-driven environment.
• Proven experience leading and developing sales teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders across internal business and distribution environments.
• Strong understanding of Home Loans products, credit processes and the end-to-end mortgage lending journey.
• Experience using sales, client and market insights to identify opportunities and improve commercial performance.
