Job Description

The Junior Managers Program (JMP) is Bosch’s accelerated development program designed to prepare high‑potential engineers for future technical and leadership roles.

The Automation & Smart Manufacturing track focuses on developing future leaders in automation, robotics, digitalization, and Industry 4.0, through hands‑on projects, cross‑functional rotations, and strong mentorship.

What’s in store for you?

  • Rotate across Technical Functions (TEF) and Manufacturing with a strong focus on:
    • Automation & Robotics Engineering
    • Manufacturing / Production Engineering (automation focus)
    • Industrial Engineering & Process Optimization
    • Digitalization, MES, and smart factory initiatives
  • Lead and support automation projects from concept, feasibility, to implementation
  • Contribute to productivity improvement, cost reduction, and safety through automation
  • Support industrialization and ramp‑up of automated production lines
  • Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and global automation teams
  • Build leadership, communication, and project management capabilities through real business ownership

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Automation, Robotics, Manufacturing, Software, Industrial Engineering)
  • Strong interest in automation, robotics, testing and smart manufacturing
  • Passion for improving manufacturing through technology and innovation
  • Good analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in shopfloor and cross‑functional environments
  • High learning agility and willingness to rotate across functions and locations
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience.
