Job Description

Live-In Carer Required – Driver with Own Vehicle

We are looking for a kind, reliable, and compassionate live-in carer to support a lovely lady living with dementia. She is calm, gentle, and sociable, and would benefit from a carer who enjoys offering companionship alongside practical care.

About her:

• Calm, gentle, and friendly personality
• Sociable and enjoys good company
• Loves spending time in her garden

Role responsibilities:

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with personal care and daily routines
• Supporting and managing stoma care, including changing the stoma bag
• Changing her prescribed medication patch as required
• Helping with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home
• Completing food shopping and essential errands
• Encouraging time outdoors — she enjoys sitting in her garden and gardening during the summer months

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle
• Be patient, respectful, and dependable
• Have experience in care 
• Be comfortable supporting stoma care (training provided)

Additional Information

Pay & requirements:

• £125 per day
• 2 days of mandatory training before starting
• Enhanced DBS check required
