Job Description

As Manager Business Partner Controller, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive profitability for the Commercial Goods Business Unit with Brakes Components, Spark Plugs, Rotating Machines, Filters, Batteries and Portfolio Goods in North America.
  • Serve as the business partner for regional business unit MA-CG in NA, providing transparent KPI analysis, economic evaluations, and decision proposals.
  • Collaborate with international and local plants, as well as worldwide business unit marketing, engineering, and purchasing organizations to implement cross-functional measures.
  • Conduct business analysis for actual, forecast, and business planning, including margin steering and long-term EBIT projections.
  • Support the planning and follow up of growth activities together with the β€œGo-to-market” organization in the region on the way to the Ambition 2030.
  • Prepare and present business reports for regional review meetings across all CG Product Areas.
  • Coordinate with plant controllers to verify main plant KPIs performance and impact on global results.
  • Interface with Business Unit and Region "Go-to-source" in NA, as well as different plants in the International Plant Network.
  • Support digitalization activities and AI use case realizations within the CG/CTG-team.
  • Actively contribute to increasing work efficiency and process improvements within the CG/CTG-team.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree (or equivalent) in Finance or a closely related field. A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive financial experience, ideally encompassing full P&L oversight (sales, margin, budgeting, logistics, purchasing, plant operations).
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in written and spoken English. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Financial Acumen: Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, business model understanding, and cross-functional steering of financial initiatives.
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Icona, OHEP, Power BI, and SAP is advantageous.
  • Soft Skills & Work Ethic:
    • Strong analytical abilities and an entrepreneurial mindset.
    • Exceptional prioritization skills and the ability to manage a high workload in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
    • Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to take full ownership of tasks.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable handling challenging or sensitive topics with professionalism.
    • Proactive, adaptable, and capable of making sound decisions under pressure.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 - 155,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
