Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

• Set up and qualify new test handlers for production.
• Troubleshoot handler issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and improve equipment performance, uptime, and throughput.
• Support preventive maintenance and equipment reliability programs.
• Drive continuous improvement projects on productivity, quality, and cost.
• Train and support technicians on handler operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.

Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements

Qualifications

Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of electro-mechanical system, pneumatic system fundamentals.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Good to Have

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Semiconductor test handler platforms (e.g.,JHT, Cohu, Multitest, Advantest, Hontech, Seiko Epson).
• Knowledge of machine automation, motors, robotics, and vision systems
• Problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, SPC, FMEA, and DOE.
