Medical Assistant (PRN)
Location: Ridgeview, 4447 Gibsonia Rd, Gibsonia, PA 15044
Pay: $17–$18 per hour
Schedule: PRN (as needed)
As a Medical Assistant, you’ll support the facility’s medical staff and help clients navigate admissions, appointments, and ongoing care.
What you’ll do
- Answer phone calls and complete documentation and filing to support medical staff.
- Maintain and complete medical records.
- Assist with admissions and the consent process, and support clients during medical appointments.
- Obtain vital signs and urine screens, and document results for the medical team.
- Complete lab requisitions, monitor results, and review them with the medical team as needed.
- Prepare and distribute client packets.
- Support prior authorizations and medication ordering.
- Schedule follow-up medical appointments and make external referrals as directed by the medical team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need
- A Medical Assistant degree or certification, or equivalent.
