MS CRM Lead Developer – Dynamics 365 CRM, Azure, AI & Integration

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Azure services, enterprise integrations, and AI adoption. The candidate will be responsible for leading technical design and development, implementing scalable cloud-based solutions, and driving the adoption of AI capabilities across CRM and business processes. The role requires a strong hands-on development background combined with technical leadership, solution design, and team mentoring capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and customization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales/Customer Engagement solutions.

• Define technical architecture and development standards for CRM and Power Platform implementations.

• Design and develop D365 plugins, custom APIs, PCF controls, JavaScript/TypeScript customizations, and Dataverse extensions.

• Design and implement Azure-based solutions using Azure Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, API Management, and other relevant Azure services.

• Lead integrations between Dynamics 365/Dataverse and external enterprise applications using REST APIs, OData, and messaging services.

• Define integration patterns covering synchronous/asynchronous communication, error handling, logging, monitoring, and retry mechanisms.

• Drive AI adoption by identifying and implementing AI/GenAI use cases within CRM and business processes.

• Design and implement solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and other relevant AI services.

• Explore and implement intelligent document processing, AI-powered automation, and AI-assisted business workflows.

• Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable integration and AI solutions.

• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor development teams.

• Lead technical discussions, effort estimation, solution design, and technical problem-solving.

• Drive CI/CD implementation and deployment automation using Azure DevOps.

• Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical design reviews.

Must Have

• Extensive hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/CRM development and customization.

• Strong knowledge of Dataverse architecture, security, plugins, custom APIs, PCF controls, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus.

• Experience with Azure Logic Apps, API Management, Key Vault, and Azure monitoring.

• Strong experience designing and implementing REST API and enterprise application integrations.

• Understanding synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns, messaging, error handling, and monitoring.

• Practical experience in AI/GenAI adoption and implementation within enterprise applications.

• Experience with Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, or Microsoft Copilot ecosystem.

• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.

• Proven technical leadership, solution design, and developer mentoring capabilities.

• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

Qualifications

• 9–12+ years of overall IT experience, with significant experience in Dynamics 365 CRM and Azure development.

• Proven experience leading technical development teams and delivering enterprise CRM and integration solutions.

• Hands-on experience in implementing Azure-based integrations and AI/GenAI solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, and AI-related certifications are an added advantage.

• Strong analytical, architectural, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.

• Ability to work independently and lead delivery in a distributed Agile project environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
