Job Description

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Analyst with over 5 years of hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and managing solutions within SharePoint Online and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem (MS Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, Viva and MS Graph).

The role focuses on site design, permissions management, custom forms, workflow automation, and governance, along with exposure to AI-powered solutions and modern Microsoft technologies.

Position would be primarily covering UK hours (12:30PM-9:30PM IST). May be needed to cover rotational shifts (US and APAC Hours)

Duties: Design and develop SharePoint Online sites (communication sites, team sites) aligned with business requirements

• Manage and implement SharePoint permissions, access control, and governance policies
• Develop and customize forms using Microsoft Power Apps (PowerApps Studio)
• Build and maintain workflows using Power Automate for SharePoint-based processes (simple to complex)
• Administer and govern Power Platform environments, including DLP policies and environment strategy
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Implement document management solutions (metadata, content types, retention policies)
• Develop intelligent document processing solutions (classification, metadata extraction, search optimization)
• Integrate SharePoint with external systems using Microsoft Graph API
• Design and develop AI-powered solutions within Microsoft 365 (e.g., automation, insights, content intelligence)
• Ensure compliance, security, and best practices across SharePoint and Power Platform
• Provide support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of existing solutions
• Resolve O365 tickets escalated from the service desk and communicate directly with customers to resolve, escalate, or reroute tickets
• Title and job description are not exhaustive, and the Smiths may require you from time to time to undertake other reasonable tasks within your capacity.  

Qualifications

Essential: 

5+ years of experience in SharePoint Online Development

SharePoint\MS Teams\OneDrive

• Site design and architecture
• Permissions and access management
• Lists, libraries, content types, metadata
• SharePoint Migration experience with tools like ShareGate, SharePoint Migration Manager, etc

Power Platform

• Hands-on experience with:
  • Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas apps, custom forms)
  • Power Automate (end-to-end workflow automation)
• Experience in Power Platform administration and governance
  • Environment management
  • DLP policies
  • Licensing awareness

Automation & Integration

• Strong experience in workflow design (simple to complex business processes)
• Experience with Microsoft Graph API for integrations and Microsoft PowerShell

Desirable:

• Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS‑900, PL‑900, or similar)
• Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for custom development
• Exposure to Azure services (AI, automation, integrations)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot capabilities
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, PnP)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview
• Knowledge of REST APIs and connectors
