By welcoming each new and returning guest with personalised and attentive care, you will set the tone for  exceptional service. Here you can take your role beyond checking people in and out. Sharing your knowledge and love of our region, you will anticipate guest needs and offer recommendations that make their stays even more special.

• Assisting the Night Manager to check and prepare reports & statistical information in accordance with service standards and auditing procedures
• Balance Food & Beverage point of sale transactions and credit card transactions to journal reports
• Greet, check-in, respond to requests and settle accounts while providing exceptional service
• Assist other departments with overnight duties as required to ensure a positive guest experience

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

• A service-focused personality is essential, with the ability to connect with guests through story telling and anticipation of needs
• Prior night audit / front office experience
• Experience working with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and Opera (or a related PMS system)
• POS experience is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet
• Unprovisional full driver’s license an advantage.  Confident driving both automatic and manual cars
• Fluency in English language, both written and verbal; additional languages are an asset
• Must have Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
• Full Australian working rights
• Full availability to nights, weekends, public holidays essential
