In this role, you’ll become a local technical expert for TOMRA’s Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs), working closely with customers, technicians, system users, and colleagues across Europe. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our solutions perform at their best—while contributing knowledge, ideas, and improvements as the organisation continues to grow.

You’ll also act as an important link between TOMRA Collection UK and our global teams, working closely with colleagues at our Norway head office and R&D hub to share insights, support developments, and help local teams succeed.

What you’ll be doing

As our Product Expert Engineer, you'll play a key role in helping TOMRA's technology perform at its best. Working closely with colleagues across Service, Product, and Operations, you'll combine technical expertise with data-driven insights to improve machine performance and support our growing customer base. 

• Act as a technical specialist for our Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) and supporting systems 
• Analyse machine and operational data to identify trends, solve problems, and drive performance improvements 
• Partner with internal teams to provide technical guidance, product expertise, and configuration support 
• Lead the resolution of complex technical challenges, collaborating with colleagues across functions and regions 
• Deliver engaging training and knowledge-sharing sessions that help technicians and service teams succeed 
• Support new machine installations and help ensure a smooth transition from deployment to operation

• Experience contributing to product, system, or process improvements through collaboration and continuous improvement 
• A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering (or similar) or equivalent practical experience 

Helpful, but not essential: 

• Experience in manufacturing, automation, technical support or related environments 
• An interest in sustainability and technology that creates positive impact
