WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Product Operations Lead will act as the Portfolio Control Tower for Product Management within Getnet Platforms– Payments Hub. This role is responsible for ensuring strategic alignment, portfolio governance discipline, operational excellence, and financial transparency across the organization.

Operating within Getnet Platforms governance standards, the role will own & reinforce Product Lifecycle Management (PLCM3: product, processes and knowledge) as well as its adherence, optimization of quarterly planning processes, delivery predictability, enable fact-based decision making in prioritization, ensure compliance with tollgates and reporting frameworks.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are in search of a Product Operations Lead to join our team in TBD, with the following qualifications and background:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational excellence & methodology:
  • Standardize and reinforce Product Management methodologies and governance processes.
  • Ensure backlog hygiene and initiative traceability (e.g., Jira governance).
  • Monitor delivery predictability metrics and roadmap adherence.
  • Identify bottlenecks, risks, and mitigation actions across domains.
  • Ensure compliance with internal tollgates (Sign off / Design Authority / Risk Authority).
  • Close process gaps in prioritization, UAT phase methodology, documentation, and system integrations.
  1. Cross-Functional Governance & Alignment
  • Partner closely with Product Domain Leads, CTO, Finance, Risk & Compliance, CISO, Strategy, and Professional Services.
  • Manage interdependencies across initiatives and domains across the organization with stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain a clear RACI model aligned with Product Management governance standards.
  • Ensure regulatory-driven initiatives are embedded within planning and portfolio tracking.
  1. Portfolio Strategy & Governance
  • Own and reinforce the Product Lifecycle Management framework (PLCM3) across Payments Hub.
  • Enable structured portfolio prioritization (impact, effort, risk, regulatory constraints).
  • Optimize quarterly planning and initiative sequencing across Core and Local domains.
  • Facilitate capacity allocation analysis (Growth / Run / Regulatory).
  • Contribute in the governance of Core vs Local development alignment to avoid duplication and inefficiencies.
  • Ensure set up and compliance with reporting requirements and Product Forums governance as the company matures.
  1. Performance and financial transparency:
  • Provide cost-per-transaction transparency across products and payment rails.
  • Lead volume analytics and transaction tracking across producers and consumers.
  • Enable product P&L visibility in partnership with Finance and CTO.
  • Contribute in the monitoring of tech debt, development efficiency, and optimization opportunities.
  • Facilitate & optimize capacity allocation as per company needs
  1. Data Insights and continuous improvement:
  • Develop standardized portfolio dashboards and executive reporting.
  • Facilitate forecasting and planning predictability across product domains.
  • Track & support in optimizing customer adoption lifecycle phases (delivery → UAT → go-live) together with key stakeholders.
  • Support launch readiness and go-to-market governance.
  • Drive automation, scalability, and reporting alignment initiatives as the organization matures.
  • Support Product Domain Leads with fact-based investment trade-offs aligned with market benchmarks.

Requirements:

  1. Desirable prior experience in Product Operations, Portfolio Management, or Operational role within fintech, payments, or regulated environments.
  2. Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management and governance frameworks.
  3. Experience scaling processes in complex, matrix organizations.
  4. Proven experience in curating, analysing and surfacing data that support/ facilitate strategic decisions making on performance metrics, feature usage, customer feedback, and operational KPIs amongst others.
  5. Experience operating within regulated financial services environments.
  6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  7. Ability to influence senior stakeholders across the organization (Product, Engineering, Finance, and Risk).
  8. Adaptability and continuous learning: willingness to learn new technologies, adapt to changing priorities, and navigate ambiguity.

Nice to Have:

  1. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum and ceremonies.
  2. Experience in fintech, payments industry and/or complex global organizations.
  3. Knowledge of multi-rail payments processing environments.
  4. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks in financial services.
  5. Advanced data analytics capabilities (SQL, BI tools, dashboarding).

Other relevant information: ideal if they are Spanish and English advanced in fluency (if not native).
