Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Receptionist to join our dynamic team in 6th of October City, Egypt. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys delivering exceptional customer service, and is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. As the first point of contact for our organization, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere while ensuring smooth daily operations.

• Welcome visitors, clients, and guests with a warm, friendly demeanor and direct them to the appropriate departments or personnel
• Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently
• Schedule and manage appointments, maintaining accurate calendars and sending timely reminders
• Process visitor check-ins and check-outs with attention to detail and accuracy
• Handle general inquiries and provide information about the organization's services and facilities
• Perform data entry tasks with precision, maintaining organized records and databases
• Manage mail distribution, package delivery, and office supplies inventory
• Assist with administrative tasks and support other departments as needed
• Address guest or client concerns with empathy and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Ensure all front office operations run smoothly and effectively throughout the day

Qualifications

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Proven experience in a reception, front office, or customer service role (desirable)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong phone etiquette
• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
• Demonstrated customer service expertise with a passion for delivering high-quality service
• Strong personal integrity and professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize competing demands
• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations with composure
• Proficiency in appointment scheduling and calendar management systems
• Accuracy in data entry and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work various shifts and schedules as required by the organization
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Current police clearance or willingness to obtain one
• Reliable transportation to commute to 6th of October City
• Inclusive mindset with ability to interact respectfully with diverse individuals

Additional Information

experience is an asset
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Previous experience in the hotel/hospitality industry is preferred
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
