Regional Field Sales Manager

The Regional Field Sales Manager is responsible for enhancing the effectiveness of the field sales team by providing right tools and insight so as Field Sales team to perform at very high standards. This role involves internal communication with the field sales team, as well as external communication with wholesalers to promote the company's products. Job Description

BUSINESS PLANNING & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT:

• Develop and execute the Field Sales Business Plan for the assigned territory.
• Manage the Field Sales Team’s KPIs and the Field Sales Agency’s KPIs, where relevant.
• Ensure achievement of defined KPI targets, including store coverage, distribution, additional store placements, cashier coolers and Perfect Execution (Perfect Store).
• Ensure promotional plans are effectively implemented and run from day one.

STORE UNIVERSE, POS & PERFECT STORE EXECUTION:

• Define the relevant store universe to be covered by the Field Sales Team.
• Enable the team to develop the store universe through active selling, implementation of the Perfect Store Concept and the rotating coverage model.
• Plan and monitor the right and full placement of POS materials and coolers.
• Support the expansion of brand distribution across traditional and organized trade.

FIELD TOOLS, DATA, REPORTING & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:

• Ensure the Field Sales Team has all relevant information and tools required to perform effectively.
• Ensure correct usage of Field Sales tools and gather feedback on gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure accurate input of audit and Field App data and use reports to support the development of the Field Sales Team.
• Analyze field data to identify key insights, white spaces and opportunities for improvement.
• Gather feedback from Field Sales representatives and translate insights into actions to continuously improve field effectiveness.

TEAM MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT:

• Ensure Field Sales Team members clearly understand their individual roles, responsibilities and agreed ways of working.
• Set clear expectations and support the team in achieving individual and team objectives.
• Provide ongoing guidance, coaching and feedback to improve field execution and performance.

SALES COMMUNICATION & FIELD ENABLEMENT:

• Keep the Field Sales Team informed about company updates, product launches, promotions and sales targets through clear and consistent communication.
• Create and distribute relevant updates, announcements and communication materials for the Field Sales Team.
• Develop sales collateral, presentations, sell sheets and other materials to support Field Sales representatives in their interactions with customers and retailers.
• Ensure effective communication and alignment with internal teams, sales agencies and wholesalers where relevant.

Qualifications

5 Years’ experience in Field Sales preferably in the FMCG industry.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

Proven ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.

Effective coaching and feedback delivery skills.

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in competitive beverage or consumer goods markets.

Strategic thinking with ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.

Resilience and adaptability in dynamic market conditions.

Ability to build trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders.

Strong project management and organizational abilities.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
