Procelys is a Business Unit within Lesaffre Biotechnology and life science Division, supporting the industry by providing yeast-based nutrients and expertise to improve growth and productivity of microorganisms and cell cultures. Procelys develops a wide range of specific fermentation nutrients to address biotech challenges in biopharma, food and feed bioingredients, food cultures and probiotics, and the renewable industry.

Job Description

• Strategy & Vision
  - Define and implement the regional vision and strategy to accelerate sustainable & profitable growth for Procelys in APAC & China
• Sales & Business Development
   - Strengthen relationships with existing customers by ensuring excellent service and driving account growth
  - Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across key segments
  - Lead high-level negotiations and secure long-term customer relationships
• Team Leadership & Development
  - Build and develop a high-performing regional team, attracting and retaining top talent.
  - Set clear sales and performance targets
  - Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation across the whole Go-to-market organization (Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, Innovation, and Customer Service)
• Financial & Operational Accountability
  - Prepare and manage regional budgets, forecasts, and performance reports
  - Monitor key performance indicators and ensure corrective actions are taken when needed

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in scientific or engineering studies, (ideally within biochemical engineering, biotechnology, or bioprocessing) is required
• 12 or more years of experience selling B2B product to the fermentation industry in APAC/China (biotechnology, bi-ingredients, biopharma, food, feed), responsible for revenues in double-digits
• 6 or more years of managing a team of regional sales managers, key account managers, and new business development managers is required
• 6 or more years of experience working for a multinational organization with over $1B in revenue is required
• Significant experience with business development, leading the commercial launch of new products, and initiating co-creation projects with customers are all requirements
• Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Office products, Power BI, Salesforce, and SharePoint are all required

Preferred qualifications: 

• MBA is preferred but not required
