Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: -

• Fulfill special requests for miscellaneous items such as cribs, cots, extra towels, and other guest amenities
• Collect dirty linen, garbage, and recyclables from Room Attendant carts and closets in a timely and efficient manner
• Report necessary maintenance items and safety concerns to appropriate personnel
• Restock and maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment throughout the property
• Assist Room Attendants with room turnover during peak seasons and high-occupancy periods 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping closets, storage areas, and common spaces
• Support deep cleaning projects and seasonal maintenance initiatives as assigned.
• Follow all departmental policies, procedures, safety, and sanitation standards consistently
• Respond promptly to guest requests and special needs with professionalism and courtesy
• Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Assist with special events, conventions, or large group check-ins as needed
• Report any damages, lost and found items, or security concerns to management immediately

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience an asset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
