Job Description

As a waiter, you are expected to deliver prompt, efficient, consistent, professional, and engaging service to all guests. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience. Key expectations include but are not limited to:

• Provide prompt, efficient, and professional service to all hotel and restaurant guests
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, including prices, preparation processes, and allergen information
• Complete all mise en place tasks before service, including table setup and side station preparation
• Take and process food and beverage orders accurately using the point of sale system
• Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness of the restaurant area
• Handle guest billing and payment processes efficiently
• Adhere to Health, Hygiene, and Safety standards
• Perform room service duties as required
• Assist with special functions setup and breakdown

Qualifications

• Secondary School education: minimum of 3 CXC passes
• Good oral communication skills
• Ability to speak a foreign language (particularly French, German, or Italian) is an asset
• Previous hospitality experience is beneficial but not required
• Ability to work weekends and bank holidays
