Security Coordinator

Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Security Coordinator, you execute security audits and compliance programs in the stores, supporting a safe and compliant operational environment. You collaborate with store and area teams, monitor security requirements and help drive consistent implementation of security services and standards.

You will:

• Plan and execute security audits and internal monitoring aligned with Green Security Standards.
• Act as ambassador towards store and area teams for security services, standards and requirements.
• Monitor security requirements across stores/areas and follow up on expected outcomes.
• Inform relevant audience and report audit/review using company tools
• Identify risks, analyse gaps and propose corrective actions using company audit and compliance tools.
• Deliver and support security training, awareness sessions and operational troubleshooting.
• Support investigations, fraudulent activity reviews and compliance case reporting.
• Drive an ambitious safety and security culture and collaborate closely with store leaders, area leaders and crossfunctional partners to secure consistent execution of compliance programs.
• Support the Yearly Stock take process by visiting stores  and troubleshooting

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will become part of a close-knit and collaborative team of 9 colleagues responsible for security operations across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Teamwork and mutual support are at the heart of everything we do, with colleagues always ready to help one another when needed. Working closely with the two security coordinator colleagues in Amsterdam, you will contribute to a wide range of security initiatives where knowledge, experience, and best practices are shared across teams.

Other collaboration partners are the store and area teams, market security colleagues, retail operations, compliance partners and other stakeholders involved in store processes, audits and risk management. You will collaborate crossfunctionally to secure alignment on standards, tools, training and corrective actions.

WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with…

• Preferred certifications in Compliance, Audit or other security‑related areas.
• Knowledge of security compliance programs, standards and audit processes.
• Familiarity with store operations, security tools and YST (Yearly Stock Take) processes.
• 2+ years of experience in security, operations, compliance or retail service roles.
• Experience executing compliance programs and monitoring security requirements.
• Assisting in fraud investigations and reporting. 
• Minimum experience as a store manager in retail.
• Good knowledge in English and French (written/spoken).
