📍 Location: London, EC2V 6AZ
💰 Pay: £14.80 per hour
📅 Hours: 42 hours per week: Working 4 on, 4 off, nights only. This includes weekends & bank holidays

As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in protecting our client’s people, property and assets, ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times. Working in line with site procedures and customer requirements, you will carry out regular patrols, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, control access to site, and respond professionally to any security-related incidents🛡️

This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding service. As a Security Officer, you will demonstrate our core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness while managing visitor access, maintaining accurate records, handling keys and security equipment, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the site

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate 
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate 
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions 
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
• Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• A valid SIA licence
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
• Be punctual and reliable
• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team 
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
