As a Security Officer, you will deliver a professional security service in line with site procedures and customer requirements. The Security Officer will be responsible for protecting people, property, and assets while upholding Securitas' core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. This is an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer to contribute to a safe and secure environment through proactive security operations, excellent customer service, and compliance with site and company standards.

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Work at a prestigious, high-security site within a professional environment.
• Monitor and protect people, property, and assets.
• Conduct patrols and respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
• Manage access control, visitors, and contractors.
• Operate CCTV, alarm, and access control systems.
• Complete reports and maintain accurate security records.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
• Access ongoing training and career development opportunities with Securitas.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• Valid SIA Licence.
• Previous experience as a Security Officer or within a customer-facing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional approach.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively to incidents and emergencies.
• Experience completing reports, incident logs, and security documentation.
• Good understanding of health & safety and security procedures.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Full right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable employment and address history.
• Must be a UK National and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years due to site requirements.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Security Clearance (SC).
