Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Senior Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Giza, Egypt. In this supervisory role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, manage staff performance, and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and facility maintenance across our organization. You will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping professionals while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance management
• Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure cleaning standards meet organizational requirements and guest expectations
• Develop and implement efficient cleaning procedures and protocols that optimize productivity and maintain quality
• Train and onboard new housekeeping staff members on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective procurement
• Address and resolve staff concerns, conflicts, and performance issues in a professional and timely manner
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment
• Prepare and submit reports on housekeeping operations, including staff performance metrics and maintenance issues
• Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate services and address facility needs
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment for all housekeeping team members

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping operations within a hospitality or corporate environment
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of cleaning protocols, best practices, and industry standards
• Proficiency in staff scheduling, performance evaluation, and team management
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to maintain attention to detail in quality control and inspections
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
• Problem-solving abilities and capacity to handle operational challenges efficiently
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in inventory management and basic budget tracking
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends as needed
• Preferred: Experience with housekeeping management software or facility management systems
• Preferred: Training and development experience for staff members

Additional Information

Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
Egyptian nationality is accepted.
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
V. Good in English, additional languages are a plus.
