Get to Know the Team

As the Senior Manager, Regional Strategic Partnerships (Deliveries & Dine-out), you will be the primary architect of our business unit's strategic partnerships. You will identify both the problem statements which require strategic partnerships and the right partners for solving that problem. You will work closely with ACE (anything you can eat, which includes both food delivery and dine out) GM Organisation (incl. business strategy and product mgmt. for both deliveries and dine out), Group Business Development team and multiple other teams (both regional and country) to achieve this endeavour

Get to Know the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, ACE,  you will serve as a key member of the fastest growing and largest revenue contributing business unit of Grab.

• Take the lead to identify and narrow down the problem statements facing the business, which could benefit from interventions in terms of finding the right strategic partners.
• Take the lead to drive projects/deals end-to-end from commercial negotiation to closure, to project management and execution and maintain key relationships at senior levels of the right partners
• Drive and create new partnerships as well as harvest existing partnerships to accelerate growth for ACE overall, by working closely with multiple internal regional and local business/product teams
• Stay in sync with overall Group Business Development initiatives to ensure that ACE's BD strategy is coherent with the Group's

This role will be onsite and based in Singapore's One North office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will define opportunities and strategies to form ACE strategic regional and country partnerships with a myriad of partners in Southeast Asia.
• You will keep yourself updated with the relevant market context, especially differences between various markets, as the same approach might not work for each market.
• You will build in-depth understanding of dine out business and look for opportunities to advance the business thesis through strategic partnerships
• You will find ways to bring more top of the funnel to both food delivery and dine out business through strategic partnerships
• You will engage and communicate with prospects and partners to develop a compelling Grab value proposition tailored to their needs.
• You will deliver regular reviews to Grab management, outlining progress, challenges, and strategies for accelerating progress.
• You will support a high-performing team culture and share best practices with regional business development teams.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• You have 6 or more years of experience in regional strategic partnerships.
• You blend business, strategy, finance, and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted deals.
• You have experience establishing and maintaining C-level relationships across Southeast Asia.
• You have a strong track record in project management and stakeholder management.
• You communicate effectively in writing and verbally, shaping clear messages and initiatives.
• You have experience with AI tools for doing desktop research and pulling data
