Job Description

The primary objective of this position is to define/ execute customer strategy incl acquisition, oversee the overall program management there by contributing to the Long term Profitable growth of business with defined customer account.

• Sales : 
  • Define the acquisition strategy, liaison with the customer for Preselling, RFQ, quotation, negotiation and contracting for system and development agreement for new projects.
• Program Management :
  • Supervise the KPIs (Time, Spec, Cost, Budget and Profit)
  • Manage escalations for all projects
  • Assess the project acquisition reviews/quality Gates and alignment with stakeholders.
• Price Management : 
  • Execute contractual conditions (Forex, Raw Material reconciliations, PCR)
  • Define and Execute strategy for long term sustenance of profitability (Price claims topics)
• Customer Relationship Management: 
  • Formulate sustainable measures for topics with areas of improvement from Customer experience index
  • Co-ordinate for setting up Top management meetings involving key players and decision makers to discuss strategic topics and review critical project status
• Business Planning : 
  • Support market analysis and support/lead business planning
  • Assimilate customer strategy & support/align Bosch strategy with focus on further business development
• Team Development :
  • Develop competencies for the team considering future market requirements
  • Target setting and reviewing for the team
  • Identify measures to improve efficiency (digitalization, automation etc.)
  • Foster Great Place To Work (GPTW) initiatives within teams
• General Management :
  • Monitoring of delivery fulfilment, Field quality and Cash receivables

Qualifications

Education       

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical /Automobile/ Industrial Production, Electrical, Electronics or equivalent)
• MBA in Marketing / Operations / International Business / Technology Management (Desirable)

Relevant Experience

1. 12 to 16 years of experience within Automotive/Commercial Vehicle/Tractor Industry with cross-functional exposure in Sales and/or System Project Management. (MUST)
2. 05 to 08 Years of Experience in B2B Sales to Indian Automotive/Commercial vehicle/Tractor OEMs (Technical Sales, Marketing, Product Management)
3. 03 to 04 Year experience in Program Management (desirable)
4. Experience of Working with Indian Automotive/CV/Tractor OEMs is preferred.

• Knowledge of the Commercial vehicle & Tractor industry and Eco-System
• Competent analytical/critical skills, commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset
• Advanced leadership skills in negotiation, communication, presentation, should exhibit Agility
• Competent Customer Strategy Management & & Customer Relationship management
• Proficient in SAP, MS office tools, PPAP and APQP process
• Advanced Knowledge of Diesel/ alternative Powertrain technologies, Engine Management System, Product development life cycle, Overview of Bosch product portfolio and new developments
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an added advantage
