Your Role

As a Software Sales & Systems Manager (m/f/d), you play a key role in shaping software solutions for major international intralogistics projects. You take ownership of the entire software proposal process, translating customer requirements into competitive, high-quality solutions that align with BEUMER Group standards, business objectives, and industry best practices. By combining technical expertise, commercial understanding, and stakeholder leadership, you help drive successful project acquisitions worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

• Own software proposals end-to-end, including functionality, technology, schedule, and budget
• Develop customer-focused software solutions that meet tender requirements and business objectives
• Ensure compliance with the BEUMER Group Stage-Gate Model, BGMS quality standards, and internal processes
• Conduct risk assessments for complex and high-value opportunities and proactively drive mitigation measures
• Establish and lead cross-functional proposal teams consisting of software architects, project managers, and engineers
• Coordinate internal stakeholders as well as external partners and sub-suppliers throughout the proposal phase
• Maintain transparency of software costing and support informed commercial decision-making
• Contribute to the development of sales concepts, licensing strategies, and marketing materials

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Several years of experience in software proposal management, pre-sales, solution management, or a comparable role
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex stakeholder environments
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, quality management, and proposal processes
• Hands-on experience in risk analysis, stakeholder management, and customer-facing project environments
• Knowledge of software sales strategies, licensing models, and commercial proposal development
• PMP, CSM, or comparable certifications are advantageous
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration skills
• International project experience is a plus
