Staff Engineer, Full Stack Developer – Python + Java script

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience: 5.5+ years 
• Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript (ES6+, async/await, closures) and React.
• Must-have strong proficiency in Python with production-grade development experience.

• Hands-on experience with Flask or FastAPI for building REST APIs.
• Strong experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL; MySQL/SQL Server is also acceptable.
• Good understanding of database schema design, joins, indexing, and query optimization.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, system design, scalability, and problem-solving.
• Experience in end-to-end development from database schema and backend services to frontend UI.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex and ambiguous technical problems.
• Experience with Git and version control best practices.
• Good-to-have experience with Electron framework for desktop applications.
• Good-to-have experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as ADK or LangGraph.
• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI, Docker, CI/CD, and unit/integration testing is preferred.
• Experience with Claude Code or other AI-assisted development tools is an added advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop production-grade full-stack web applications and REST APIs.
• Build responsive and scalable frontend applications using JavaScript and React.
• Develop robust backend services and APIs using Python with Flask/FastAPI.
• Design and optimize relational database schemas, queries, indexes, and data models.
• Own end-to-end development from database design through backend services and user interface.
• Participate in system design and develop scalable, maintainable application architectures.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Follow Git, coding, testing, and software development best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD and containerized deployments using Docker.
• Explore and leverage AI-assisted development tools and Agentic AI frameworks where applicable.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
