Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
β’ Total experience: 5.5+ years.
β’ Strong experience in Manual Testing and Web Automation Testing.
β’ Must-have expertise in Playwright with TypeScript.
β’ Good-to-have experience with Cypress automation framework.
β’ Hands-on experience in Test Planning, Test Strategy, Test Design, Test Execution, and Defect Management.
β’ Experience in interpreting acceptance criteria and writing effective test cases for user stories.
β’ Strong experience in test case organization, execution tracking, and reporting.
β’ Hands-on coding experience using JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation.
β’ Experience validating HTTP requests/responses, response codes, exception handling, and API testing.
β’ Experience testing GraphQL APIs.
β’ Hands-on experience using Browser Developer Tools for debugging and validation.
β’ Experience with Accessibility Testing using JAWS or similar accessibility tools.
β’ Strong working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
β’ Good understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and quality engineering best practices.
β’ Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Engineering Managers.
β’ Ability to understand business requirements from a customer perspective and translate them into effective test strategies.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
β’ Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.
β’ Perform comprehensive manual and automation testing for web applications to ensure product quality.
β’ Create and execute detailed test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
β’ Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Engineering teams throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
β’ Review user stories, interpret acceptance criteria, and develop comprehensive test coverage.
β’ Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
β’ Automate web application test cases using Playwright and contribute to Cypress automation where applicable.
β’ Validate HTTP requests, responses, status codes, exceptions, and GraphQL APIs.
β’ Execute accessibility testing using JAWS and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
β’ Utilize Browser Developer Tools to troubleshoot application issues and support defect analysis.
β’ Track, report, and manage defects using JIRA while maintaining test documentation in Confluence.
β’ Define, monitor, and improve quality metrics to ensure high product quality.
β’ Work closely with engineering teams to identify quality risks early and recommend mitigation strategies.
β’ Support continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing best practices.
β’ Ensure high-quality software delivery through effective collaboration, continuous testing, and quality engineering practices.
Qualifications
Bachelorβs or masterβs degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
