Company Description

As a Steward, you will play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall efficiency of our kitchen and back-of-house operations. You will support the culinary and Food & Beverage teams by ensuring all equipment, dishes, and work areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

What you will be doing:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen and stewarding areas
• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Ensure all sanitation and hygiene standards are consistently met, in line with health and safety regulations
• Support the culinary team with basic tasks such as waste removal, recycling, and restocking supplies
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment
• Keep all storage areas clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as required
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment
• Support team members and contribute to a positive and efficient working environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous experience in a stewarding or kitchen environment is an asset, but not required
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Visa requirements: Successful candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates with Canadian work authorization.
